So sensual. So talented. So all in my head right now.
I tried finding a clip of Hawksley Workman's "You and the Candles" to share with you all, but alas I cannot. I found this song two weeks ago when I was on the bus, oblivious to the world, with my ipod in my ears. I didn't know I had downloaded it let alone that I had put it on my playlist. I am so glad I did, however I did it.
It's a song about simplicity, about the fall of society and the endurance of love. When all is gone, love will remain. His voice is so...like I said, sensual. It's soothing and yet raw and powerful. I could go on and on, but I'd probably just reveal too much information of my love for this man and his voice. Somethings are better left unsaid.
I'm kicking myself for leaving the ipod at home today because all I really want right now is a little hawksley therapy.
Please, I urge you, find it, listen, and enjoy.
