Tuesday at the Midway
Last night Tara managed, convincingly, to get me off my hangover butt and into town for some delicious cheap wings at the Clocktower. Note to Tara and myself: Our eyes are bigger than our stomachs. 20 wings are too many.
The original plan after wings was to find a movie that we'd both enjoy, but sadly (at the time) all of the movies we might have been interested in started too late, which left us trying to find something else to occupy our time, and amuse our senses.
The only thing I could think of was perhaps a game of mini putt, at a place I briefly heard of once and knew nothing about. As it happens, my idea turned out to more fun than we could have imagined. I had been told that this place, called The Midway, was really just a place for kids, a place with games and jungle gyms etc. When we arrived and saw that we could ride bumper cars, and rock climb, on top of playing a round of mini putt, we knew that we hit gold.
All future birthday parties and "I don't know what to do" nights will be spent having fun at the Midway.
I don't think many people know about this place. Note how we're the only two on the bumper cars:)
