My brother was denied entry into the United States. No, he's not suspected of terrorist activities (how could you not trust a face like this?), but rather he did not meet the requirements to qualify to work in the US. Apparently you have to be highly skilled in order to qualify, with a lot of experience. Which sucks since Nick's only 19-how much experience is he expected to have? I guess the US wants to be able to offer jobs to its own citizens before outsiders (which, as my dad rightly pointed out, leads to speculation as to why so many illegal immigrants can find work). Good news though: his future employer is neighbo[u]rs with the Senator of Utah, so he'll hopefully be able to pull some strings about and get him in.
