Although I am preparing myself for the devastation of a rejection letter from Ottawa U., I am slightly comforted to know that rejection letters have begun to roll out, and I have yet to receive mine. This could mean nothing, I know. But it does mean that the first round of cuts spared me.
Since worrying is pointless, in the meantime I am actively trying to get my semester in order. And the first matter of business when dealing with this semester was to quit my job last weekend. It is such a stress relief just knowing that in a couple of weeks, I will be able to spend my weekend leisurely reading in bed. Working essentially 7 days a week with school, volunteering and Moxie's was really too much for me to handle, and I am hoping that with weekends off now I'll be able to keep focus on my major assignments and kick out some great marks this term. THAT way, when I do get horribly rejected from teachers college, I know that next year I'll have better marks and definitely get in.
Anyway, as usual I am only blogging because I am supposed to be studying for an exam tomorrow. So with that, I shall quit this diversion and get back to work:-)
