Well, this post certainly has been a long time coming:) Since summer has arrived in full swing I haven't really had much time to dedicate to blogging (amongst other things: cleaning, gardening, reading...). Work and the sun are keeping me quite busy, and while I love that I'm keeping myself occupied, I lament the slack and lack of attention I've given this space. So, to make up for my absence, I have several pictures to post, and stories to tell.
Last week I was fortunate to spend time with T at the ol' cottage. We spent two days of soaking up the half sun and eating delicious treats, including red lobster. Mmmmm. Drool. Paul joined us for one evening and participated in a legendary game of Killer Kings. Mama was not feeling so great that night.

In bigger news, last Friday I received my diploma and stepped up from graduant to graduate! It feels so great to finally have my degree! All that hard work finally paid off and it's now actually worth something. At the ceremony we had a little surprise. My old friend Shona's parents were there to see her older sister graduate in the morning. Two full years on campus and I had no idea she was even going to Carleton. It was nice to see them.
I've posted a couple pictures from that momentous day on my msn space. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

And finally, this past weekend Paul and I made our way to Montreal to visit his parents for Father's day. It was a nice little trip, complete with (of course) a trip to Decarie Hotdog, and a metro ride downtown to Isle St. Helen where we took a walk under the biosphere. Paul's mom and I spent yesterday shopping while Paul went to a meeting, and all in all I had a really good time. I always love our trips to his parents. For me it is always a very relaxing time filled with good food, drink and cheese courses:)

So far summer has been good to me. Of course I could use more colour on my legs, and I still haven't gotten around to my gardening (grrr weeds), but all in all I am having a good time, and working hard. Today I think I'll kick back and read a little before tackling the cleaning of the house. Eek.
