Perhaps I have psychic powers. Perhaps I require I brain scan. Perhaps someone could tell me how the hell I managed to get into U of Ottawa, and how the hell I managed to come across that creepy cartoon who predicted it all!?
That's right ladies and gentlemen, it is much to my excitement and shock that I introduce myself to you as one of the recent successful applicants to the Education program at the University of Ottawa!
As of September I will officially be a Gee Gee (whatever the heck that is) in the teaching program. I was accepted into the primary/junior program, as well as wait listed for the Intermediate/Senior program (I am tenth on the list, which hopefully means I'll end up accepting this program).
I think I'm still kind of shocked by this news, especially since I felt it was my weaker application, and that I was almost certain I'd be moving to Kingston (to a school who actually rejected me. Bah!). And while I'm thrilled to be going to "teacher's college" next year, the idea of another full year of classes is a little daunting. Thank god I have this summer (the first in the past three), off!
For those of my dear lovelies who are still waiting on school news, my fingers and toes are double crossed for you!!
Good luck!

OMG CONGRATULATIONS! I am so happy for you. I read your blog a while ago about thinking that Ottawa had been your weaker application but that is so awesome. Now you don't have to move away, you are still in Ottawa close to everyone. That is awesome. Big Hugs from me.
