I'll spare you the details about how stressed I am and how far behind I've fallen because of laziness, and just say that this time, it's really bad.
I began my Christmas shopping this week, which gets me all warm and fuzzy. I'm trying to stick within a budget for each person on my list while at the same time finding a well planned and thought out gift to suit each one. Check off 4 persons out of....I don't know.
D'orrie ate my Snow Balm, and I'm sad. Bodyshop claims that it was a one time limited run and that they don't sell it any more. I call bullshit on that one; I bought it two years in a row. What will I wear on my lips when it snows if not snow balm!?!
Beef numero dos: Why does Ottawa, the nations capital, now have the highest bus fares in the country?! I thought buses were for those of us who cannot afford a car. They are basically forcing people to buy bas passes by continually hiking up the cash fare (twice in the last 6 months). It now costs 3$ a ride if you pay cash, and 2.25$ for a 5 minute O-train trip. I am so grateful that I only need to go in to school 2 days a week next semester. Gonna have to get me a job to fill up my time.
Now that school reading has finished for a couple of weeks, I'm really itchin to buy A Million Little Pieces thanks to Oprah's bookclub hyping it up. Maybe Santa will put it in my stocking, though I still have a couple handfuls of books that have been stacking up since the summer that I'd like to read. Lots of Atwood. Nice.
