I love everything about Christmas. Family, friends, giving, receiving, snow and decorations. This year I realized that I get a tad depressed the moment it is all over; the moment that the gifts are opened and the wrapping paper litters the floor. I think I am fueled by the excitement and anticipation of Christmas more than the actual day. All is well though. I am happy to say that I spent a wonderful day with my family; memere included. My mother was so generous this year, giving Paul and I a water cooler and toaster oven, among other things. Tomorrow night we are going to Montreal (for the 2nd time this week) to have dinner with his entire family, which should be nice since it is such a rare occasion.
Listening to "Wheat Kings" right now by The Tragically Hip. I think I'm going to get obsessed with this song. So good.
Not in much of a condition to blog right now, but I just have to say how much I appreciate the holiday season, and how much excitement and closeness it brings with the ones I love.
