For the past couple of years my computer has been e x t r e m el y slow. I mean so slow that when you click on the start menu, you literally have to wait 5 seconds before it comes up. Lately Paul has been getting frustrated with it, and has been saying how is going to fix my computer, somethings wrong with my computer, no computer is that slow blah blah blah.
So today the power went off. I turned my computer back on and noticed the my pop up blocker detected a parasite called nhksrv.exe. Upon looking this up on the internet I discovered that this extension is used for the quick key buttons on my keyboard. You know, the Homepage and mail buttons? It comes already enabled on my Dell computer. Turns out it can use up to 90% CPU (whatever that means) when your computer is running. Disable it however, and voila, suddenly my computer is running faster than it ever has before.
I think this is just about the most stupid thing ever. Who even uses these buttons? And relies on them so much that they are willing to sacrifice the running speed of their computer?!

I just can't get over this. Suddenly my life is simpler. I have all this new free time because now I don't have to wait for my computer to catch up.
Weird!
