So, the transmission in the grand prix quit on me the other day on my way into school. The car downshifted into first, and wouldn't go over 40km/hr. I was freaked out to drive it, thinking that maybe it would blow up or that something would fall out from under the hood. Sadly, the poor ol' beast cannot be remedied and so tomorrow we (by we I mean Paul) haggle with the salesman to get us a good deal on a used Chevy Impala. Paul's all about a big car, whereas I prefer one that zips. But they are nice, very spacious, has a mirror for make-up and finally a cd player so I'm happy with it. The two we are looking at are silver and sable (beige). Personally I think the beige one looks old man-ish, but we'll see how it goes.
This is the last week of school before exams. I just finished building a web page for one class, and now I only have one essay left before I tackle a messed up study schedule. It's the homestretch so things are looking up.
Here's a picture of what the new car should look like (new to us anyway)

Rest in Peace dear ugly Grand Prix.
