Turkey Weekend
So I'm sitting in a computer lab at school waiting for my next class to start, and all I can think about is Monday off stuffing my gourd with turkey.
Mmmm......turkey. In my humble opinion there are too few days in the year when turkey is expected as the main course. This opinion of mine could definitely be clouded however by my love for stovetop stuffing! Boo and Ya.
This year we'll be having thanksgiving dinner with my family. We originally wanted to visit Paul's parents in Montreal, but this new job has me stationed in town on weekends unfortunately. It will be nice however to spend the day with Paul and D'orrie in the park and then finish off with a big Maillet Family dinner.
Moving on, I am having a little trouble with the drastic fluctuations in the temperature these past few days. My hands are blue right now I'm so cold. Last week I was sweating in skorts and sandals and this week I'm tempted to take out my winter coat, not excluding my touque and mitts!. One consolation though to all of this is the beautiful leaves falling from the trees. I've said it previously (well like 2 years ago) that I love fall and the crisp crunching leaves on the ground. So, as long as the leaves are keeping me happy, I'll put up with the cold, but let this be a fair warning that once the leaves have all fallen, I may...Just may...become a little bitter.
Until then, Happy happy:)
