D'orrie is sick. Naturally I'm worried. She at least started eating and drinking again this morning, so it's looking up.
Aside from that, what a freakin' miserable day. It's almost two in the afternoon, and my socks are still soaked from the dash off the bus to the nearest building at school this morning. I can't remember the last time it rained so persistently. I also went to the doctor to address this killer pain in my ass (literally...well tailbone anyway) only to be told that there's really no way to diagnose a problem with the tailbone and to come back in a week. Meanwhile, I have a week worth of classes to look forward to sitting in the hardest most uncomfortable chairs imagineable...ouch!
So, I have my frist class today at 4pm. I'm naturally nervous to get back into school, even though I've only been out of it for 3 weeks. I've filled my new binder with crisp clean Hilroy lined paper, and bought new comfort grip blue pens (must be blue) in anticipation for this semester to begin. I'm such a dork. A dork who's well ahead on her readings!! Woo hoo.
Yeah, aside from a sick pooch, and wet shoes, and torrential rain, and a pain in my ass...I'm doing alright....Oh, and don't forget student debts. sigh. So aside from all that...life today is good.
